David Sandberg is the managing member of Red Oak Partners, LLC, which he founded in March 2003, and the portfolio manager of various funds managed by Red Oak Partners, LLC. Previously, Mr. Sandberg co-managed JH Whitney & Co’s Green River Fund, where he was employed from 1998 to 2002. Mr. Sandberg serves as the chairman of the board of Asure Software, Inc. and Cord Blood America, Inc., both of which are public companies. He also serves as a director of SMTC Corp (public) and WTI Holdings, LLC (a private company). Previously, Mr. Sandberg served as a director of public companies EDCI, Inc., RF Industries, Ltd. Planar Systems, Inc, and Issuer Direct Corp., and of private company Kensington Vanguard. Mr. Sandberg has experience serving as a member and chairman of audit, compensation, nominating and governance, and strategic committees. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University in 1994.
